Cloudy Quartz Elephant

Quartz ElephantWe've tried to avoid it but I'm afraid the time has come when we must to talk about the elephant in the room... and why not, given that in this case it's this 46mm tall (approx) quartz beauty?

Quartz appears in the traditions of many cultures. The second most common mineral on earth (after feldspar), quartz it is believed to heal and energize the body, and to transmit prayer.

The elephant as a lucky charm or symbol has its origins in the Hindu religion of India, where the elephant-headed god Ganesha, son of Siva and Parvati, is worshipped as an opener of the way and luck-god.
